Residential Architectural Design

Gray Architectural Design provides residential architectural design for home extensions, renovations, barn conversions and new homes across Yorkshire. Whether you want to adapt an existing property or start with a new build, we work with you to understand your ideas and how you want your home to function.

Design for your home

House extensions

An extension can create room for a larger kitchen, additional living space or a different connection to the garden. At GAD, we help you explore a design that relates to the existing house and reflects how you want to use the extra space.

Renovations

If your home no longer suits your needs, a renovation offers an opportunity to rethink its layout and character. We work with your ideas to develop a personalised design for the existing property.

Barn conversions

We provide architectural design for barn conversions, helping you explore how an existing rural building could become a home. Talk to us about the building, its setting and what you would like to achieve.

New homes

For a new build, we work with you to develop a home around your needs and preferred style. Our approach brings together the way the spaces function and the overall architectural design.

Residential design across Yorkshire

With offices in York and the Driffield area, GAD works across York, East Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Meet Dean Gray, our architectural technologist, and learn about our focus on understanding each client's ideas and needs.
